ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHERYE

These were gifted to me which is kind of weird because I never really got on the whole Yeezy wave. Not saying that I don’t like them, I’ve just always felt like they didn’t go with my personal aesthetic and lets face it, every fuckboy over 25 who still collects toys will most-likely have these displayed as a shrine in their apartment. Hey, if that’s your thing, I’m not judging. I too used to collect Medicom when I was a teenager. Anyway, rather than being negative and an asshole (I’m really working on my inner serenity and trying to make it applicable in all area’s of my life and outlook) I’ll just talk about the positives. First, they’re Boost® and that is something that my feet will happily make love to. They just get all up in there and wiggle around and unpack their bags and make it a happy home. Boost® is honestly the highest example of what comfort should be in the footwear apparel industry. Adidas, you fucking made every other shoe conglomerate your kids once you released this technology, bravo. Next, I dig the whole weaved moccasin thing but the hovercraft sole is really weird to me. I know Kanye is known for thinking outside of the box and being an innovator but this sole still hasn’t morphed itself into my creative imagination to the point where I’m like “oh shit, I totally get it”. Nevertheless it is something unique and perhaps that’s the only bullet-point that needs to be comprehended. To come to a full climax and to speak from an entrepreneur standpoint, my favorite thing about what this shoe has done is “boost” (see what I did there) the obtainability of monetary gains to the independent individual. In other words, it feeds the reseller’s. Some will frown upon this term but it’s an absolute necessity in order to balance the sustainability of the markets underbelly. Inevitably it’s these individuals that are learning strategies and lessons that can catapult them to future self-liberated financial freedom, and I can’t think of a better example of the true definition of the “American dream”. Self made, self paid.

Thanks Wex for everything and for reposting these photos on your IG story. You’ve always been super nice to us over here and someone I truly admire.
