Episode 001 of the SS/OUNDWAVES® Podcast is now live. You can stream through Anchor and Spotify or if you want to listen on YouTube you can do that as well. Please like, share and leave comments as it helps me spread the channels (gotta love algorithm). Also, let me know what I should talk about next?
I started filming the next episode of Deals & Steals yesterday and realized I didn’t shop too much in October. Mostly due to being busy or spending my shopping money on tools to help build my channel but I really love the few pieces that I was able to find. Especially the things that I just got back from my tailor. It was my first time trying on the trousers and shoes together and boy is it a vibe. I can’t wait to show you guys the goods and let you know how much I paid, I was shocked myself.
I have a lot of fashion content in the can and realized that it just isn’t personal enough. Don’t get me wrong, I love shooting and talking about clothes but the whole purpose of me even exploring this project (YouTube) was so we, you and I, can get to know each other better. I realized throughout my whole photography career, I have given you very little of myself. And you, well, you have given me so much. It’s time that we talk about things of substance, talk about life and things that we battle so we can get through the fight together. To initiate this dialogue, I decided to open up about issues I have within myself. I figured I would ease into it with my five tips of how I combat my weight issues and stay in a good mental and physical space.
When it comes to vlogging or capturing my B-roll footage, the Rode Wireless Go is beyond amazing. It’s so small and sleek and isn’t distracting like walking around with a wind-shielded mic. This small gadget allows you to walk around in stealth mode while delivering amazing sound that really enhances your viewers experience.
I had a solid weekend shopping at The Outlets at Orange where I found a couple of awesome pieces. We decided to hit The Labafter, I haven’t been there in ten years so the nostalgia was real and the compound is still as cool and creative as I remember. For the most part everyone was stylish and extremely friendly. Sunday was the day to give praise to the creator and to celebrate life in Malibu with a vegan steak platter and sparkling water at Malibu Farm. Overall I had an absolutely fantastic weekend and I’m beyond grateful that I’m able to do the things that I enjoy.
I’ve always wanted to find a Chanel® piece thrifting but consistently come up short. Over the years I’ve felt like I was hunting a unicorn, an elusive creature that I would never find. That all changed last week when I finally found a beautiful pair of CC trousers.
I’ve wanted the Saint Laurent® Baby Cat sneakers since they came out in like 2015 but could never find them in my size. I saved a search in my alerts and somehow stumbled upon the 2020 version and got them for an insane price. I can’t wait to record my next episode of Deals & Steals because I don’t think you’ll believe what I paid.
