SUSTAINABLE SCENTS
July 30, 2023As much as I care about what I put in my body, I’ve been actively trying to be just as mindful about what I put on it as well. Which has lead me down a rabbit hole of sourcing organic sustainable fragrances and products that don’t harm me or interferer with my bodies natural chemistry.
Jo Malone™ - This is one of the most brilliant smelling fragrances I’ve ever come across and is free of Phthalates and Parabens. The scent is aromatic, fresh, classy and smells wealthy. With ever spray, I feel like I’m getting transported to the coast of Italy while on holiday. It smells like the life I haven’t lived yet, but is awaiting my arrival. This is by far my new favorite cologne and it wears really well on my body. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks and I can’t even begin to tell you how many compliments I’ve received. – Purchase here.
Saltair™ - I’m going to be honest, natural deodorant is one of the most tricky products for me because they either don’t smell good, don’t last or don’t keep me dry. And trust me, I’ve used them all. From the $5 stick to the $30 ‘guaranteed to work’ formulas, there hasn’t been an option that I’ve felt good about or that hasn’t made me do a “pit check” before lifting my arms up. That’s until I found Saltair™. This cost effective natural deodorant really does the job and also has an applaud worthy design and branding (I must not be the only who thinks so because they’ve won multiple awards). My only gripe is the ’Santal’ scent is a little misleading to my palette. I was expecting something with notes more along the lines of Santal 33, but this completely missed the mark. Nevertheless, it’s still a great smell that’s not overwhelming and keeps you feeling and smelling fresh. I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks now and have not experienced any rashes or any yellowing under the arms of my white shirts. – Purchase here.
