THRIFTING FOR GEMS

One of the perks of social distancing and the six-feet rule truly comes in handy at thrift stores. Goodwill is currently only allowing a few people in at a time at their sorting centers, aka “the bins”, which means shopper’s no longer have to fight over rare gems hidden at the bottom of the abyss. You can take your time browsing and sorting through second-hand goods without the anxiety of having to scavenge through the offerings at an extraordinary pace, hoping to pull out something of value like one of those claw arcade game that always leaves you empty handed. For instance, these amazing vintage metal Marlboro® signs that were just sitting there waiting for us to find them. I would say these relics from the 80’s will make quite a nice visual in our studio. As the kids say, “shout out to the thrift gods”.
